supportHi Team , Please help me to fix this . We have used this plugin but some of the roles like administrator ,school admin they are able to see the plugin in their wp dashboard . But SEO Admin can not see the plugin . I checked this is because SEO admin doesn’t have the manage_options capability assigned that’s why its not visible . But in our case we don’t want to assign manage_options capability in any case but we want them to show the plugin in their wp admin dashboard so that they can use it. Please help me to sort out this as this is on high priority for us ,because we have made the plugin live but SEO admins can not use this and they are raising it again and again. Thanks, Meenakshi Sanyal The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]

Thanks for the information. I won’t give you a quick fix, but I will try to add a feature to control access for the plugin. I will try to solve it this week.

Dear Plugin Developer, I kindly request that you make the comment private where the website URL and password were shared if possible . Or request is to make this request as private only. Thanks, Himani
Moreover, Team Plugin, could you please clarify whether the plugin will function immediately after updating, or if there are additional steps required? After updating the plugin to version 5.1, I still can’t find the menu management section under the SEO admin role. : https://prnt.sc/y-BQrwy8J1Mt , https://prnt.sc/aF6k81rSiwpw Could you kindly provide your insights on how we should proceed? Thanks, Himani
Hi Team , When we are trying to the user capability to make Side Menu Lite plugin visible , its giving a below error to us Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page. This message was triggered by WordPress Core . Call stack: wp_die() wp-admin/includes/menu.php:380 And SEO admin is still not able to see the plugin settings at his dashboard . Please help us as soon as possible . Thanks, Meenakshi
Did you set the Capability on the plugin page Tools? See the screenshot https://share.cleanshot.com/DJbDS1lb
Hi Team Initially, we tried setting the permissions to manage_links and manage_categories , but unfortunately, this didn’t resolve the issue. You can view the screenshot here for SEO capabilities: https://prnt.sc/Ex6-p1Pp5NXN . After that, we checked with edit_dashboard . Just by setting same we redirected to this wp-admin/admin.php?page=side-menu-lite&tab=tools , and encountered a different screen with error like in this screenshot : https://prnt.sc/u-TuQsNZfEpj . However, after changing the setting to read , the error was resolved, and SEO access is now functioning correctly. Here’s the updated screenshot: https://prnt.sc/7HoSnLzVXSpb . We will need a bit more time to thoroughly test everything to ensure there are no further issues. Thank you again for your support and understanding. Regards, Himani
