Hi, I installed the plugin and it works perfectly but unfortunately in my case I need to reverse it because too many people ended up with the same letter and the same background colour which was confusing. I have deactivated the plugin, cleared cache and reset gravatars in settings > discussion but members without their own profile still have letters. Can anyone help me out please? https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-first-letter-avatar/ Hi, I’m sorry, but I don’t think I fully understand. If you have deactivated my plugin, there is no possibility that my plugin still displays the letter avatars. When plugin is deactivated, it just does not work in any way, so it is not possible that you see avatars generated by my plugin. The only thing that comes to my mind is that you are using cache plugin such as W3TC or WP Super Cache – if that’s the case, you need to clear its cache (not your browser cache). Cheers, Dan Hi Dan, you’re quite right, I just didn’t give it long enough to clear! Thanks for the quick reply though. I’m glad the problem has been solved 🙂 Dan
