Hello, There seems to be an incompatibility between Variation Swatches for WooCommerce and Redis Object Cache, which causes the following problem. Error establishing a Redis connection NOPERM User [] has no permissions to run the 'eval' command WordPress is unable to establish a connection to Redis. This means that the connection information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect, or that the Redis server is not reachable. * Is the correct Redis host and port set? * Is the Redis server running? If you need help, please read the installation instructions. To disable Redis, delete the object-cache.php file in the /wp-content/ directory. Could you please provide some assistance to resolve it? The issue occurs when trying to create or edit a product, and also when attempting to save settings in Variation Swatches for WooCommerce. This is very critical, as these functionalities cannot be used while the problem persists. Best regards, Andreas Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us. I have tried to reproduce the issue on our staging site using the Redis Object Cache. Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the issue. Everything is working as expected on our staging site. Please write us here- https://getwooplugins.com/tickets/ and help us to reproduce the issue. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You I have tested both the free and the pro versions on three different systems, and the same issue appears on all of them. It seems that the plugin is not compatible with https://wordpress.org/plugins/redis-cache/ . I’m not sure which of the two is causing the problem, but each one works fine on its own — they just don’t work together. Hi, To perform a deep inspection, we need the same environment to fix the issue. I have already tried on a staging site to reproduce the issue but couldn’t reproduce it. Here is a screencast- https://www.loom.com/share/9ddd599177db4e5c85691ce3327bcb9a Please contact us here- https://getwooplugins.com/tickets/ . So that you can help us to replicate the issue. Thank You Hi, Could you please check the video below, which reproduces the issue? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nCjVlSu1FOEaArObAq494qtweDsIGUsX/view?usp=share_link The PHP version doesn’t seem to make any difference — I’ve tested with several versions. Thank you. Hi, I have already tested on another test site. From my inspection, everything is working well. Here is a screencast- https://www.loom.com/share/0b4b61d6d6064ed780cabc94a8fd3685 I have tested it using the TasteWP staging site service. You can try it there if you want. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You
