supportHello there, I have 3 sites that are all connected and using clean talk spam protection. I activated it at the beginning of April, 2026. It has seemed to be working fine but starting this week users have been complaining of not being able to book appointments. Sometimes it seems to be because they enter a bad email address. I have been told we just want to let them book anyway and fix the email address later. Other times they claim they are using the correct email address, but it still blocks. We are using Amelia Booking and WooCommerce for these appointments. I can provide login links for you to check our settings if needed. If you have a known fix for this issue please share. Hello @whiteheart , Thank you for reaching out. If our Anti-Spam service has made an incorrect decision, please help us improve by marking the relevant records in your Anti-Spam Log: Go to your Anti-Spam Log: https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests Select your website from the drop-down menu. Under each entry, you’ll find “Spam” and “Not Spam” buttons. Please use these buttons to mark any records that were incorrectly classified. You can also find a detailed guide here: https://cleantalk.org/help/feedback-spam Once you have marked the records, please notify us so that our team can analyze them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Well there’s the kicker, I don’t have these people in the spam block list. They are getting the popup Message for forbidden visitors and are not being able to continue to book.
I apologize, I do now see several blocks and I am marking them. They are the ones showing a message for Amelia logins and Amelia customer checks.
Thank you for providing those additional details. I have analyzed the requests you marked and found that one of them was blocked because the email address used does not exist. As for the Amelia form, it appears that some essential parameters were not transmitted correctly, which led to the false positives. In the meantime, I have adjusted a few of the spam filters for your websites. However, to fully understand the root cause of the issue, we need to gather some additional information about your site’s specific environment. Could you please open a ticket in our private support system so we can investigate further securely? You can do so here: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open Thank you.
I will do that thanks.
We’ve made fixes in our plugin. If you have any further questions, you can start a new topic or contact us via our private Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open .
