supportHi. Can you help me to change some settings into your plugin? 1. How can I change time interval for requests (products updates)? Now products are updating every 20 minutes. I want change it to 1hour or may be more. 2. Can I do something for not deleting products which was deleted from distributors catalogs. For example if “product 1” was into catalog (3 items available) it added into woocommerce. When “product 1” deleted from catalog it deleted from woocommerce too. I want “product 1” not deleting from WC, only set product count to “0”. 3. If I change the name of a product in the admin panel, will it affect the product when updating from the catalog?
You can not change the update interval. What is the reason for wanting to? under targets –> woo –> set “remove_out_of_stock” to false. Keep in mind while this will keep product around, your site will eventually grow to many thousands of products Name of the product is not part of the fields updated automatically. This allows you the freedom to make changes for SEO purposes without the fear of it being overwritten. Same goes for the description.

This is not important if it is imposible End one else: can I change the product category for exciting product from distributor catalog? Will the category change after product updating if I change name of the category or add/delete category in product settings? For example. The plugin add new product – RIA IMPORTS SS 410/20/3″ SYN 1RD with categories (“Guns & Firearms -> Shotguns -> Single Shot Shotguns”). I change category name from “Guns & Firearms” to “Guns” and remove “Single Shot Shotguns” from structure. Final result for RIA IMPORTS SS 410/20/3″ SYN 1RD are “Guns -> Shotguns”. Will not broken product after update (change categories or duplicate product)?
If you reduce the frequency of updates, you increase the chance of selling items that are out of stock. Changing categories names is not recommended because the automatic categorization will then break. The cockpit based categories will then recreate. If you don’t want cockpit managing product categories, you can set “manage_product_categories” to false under targets–>woo in the cockpit configuration. This will mean that you’d have to manually categorize all new products that come in.
