Hello, I am intrigued by the technical aspect of this plugin. How does it work, when Fail2ban isn’t installed in the server powering the WordPress installation? Hi there, It won’t do IP-blocking (yet) without fail2ban available on the server. But it does provide quite a few settings that changes the security aspects of WordPress, including unnecessary information disclosure. I’m looking to add IP-blocking without fail2ban for version 1.3.0 or 1.4.0. I have just released 1.2.5 , which is now compatible with versions 7.4, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4.
