Hi Rickey, I can get OneSignal push notifications to work on desktop with all sorts of browsers. However, I can’t get push notifications to work on mobile phones, and neither in the hyper-pwa app. In fact, I don’t get the initial notification consent (the permission prompt) as I do on desktop browsers. Can you help me with this? Dave Hi Dave, I am sorry this is OneSignal related issue, you have to ask OneSignal for help. When I test OneSignal before, it never 100% works. You can go to OneSignal backend dashboard, to check the data, how much chance success, how much chance failed. My understanding is when you want to send messages to your users, you have to cooperate with Push Notification, Email, and homepage top notification, you can not only depend on Push Notification. Rickey Thanks Rickey. After much trial and error, I found the culprit, so I’m sharing for others… The VPN preventing push notifications! Simply had to turn it off. D.

Hi Dave, I am sorry this is OneSignal related issue, you have to ask OneSignal for help. When I test OneSignal before, it never 100% works. You can go to OneSignal backend dashboard, to check the data, how much chance success, how much chance failed. My understanding is when you want to send messages to your users, you have to cooperate with Push Notification, Email, and homepage top notification, you can not only depend on Push Notification.
