supportEarlier LJ-XP worked nice with the most popular WordPress gallery plugin, NextGen – it crossposted to Livejournal the HTML generated by this plugin. But after they upgraded to 2.0.70+ LJ-XP began to crosspost to Livejournal not HTML, but only WordPress shortcodes. Like [singlepic id=2233 align=center] , noting more 🙁 Their censored support tells me that this is LJ-XP’s problem. Would you be please so kind to check if this is true? THank you in advance. https://wordpress.org/plugins/lj-xp/
I have the same problem. Only few weeks ago I upgrade my 1.9.x brunch of NextGen to 2.x.x and I see the problems with crossposting. It looks strange, because there is used php command apply_filters in the plugin body. Another plugin for using LaTeX expressions works good.
I changed the default status of LJ crossposts to “private” and fix everything manually :/ But today another problem appeared: if there are any tags in post, crossposter says “Error from http://www.livejournal.com : 211 : Client error: Invalid or malformed tag list” So I’m posting twice: 1st time withous tags (for the crosspost to be done) and second time I update post with all tags. And I’m writing tags in LJ manually again. Workarounds! Two or three more bugs and it would be easier to make posts in LJ manually 🙁
