Hello, while investigating discrepancies between actual orders and reported Facebook purchases, we discovered a critical issue with the Klarna WooCommerce plugin. The problem occurs specifically in the Facebook in-app browser on mobile devices. Problem description: If Klarna is selected as the payment method, and the customer clicks “Complete order”, the Facebook browser first shows an error: “ Can’t open page ”. A popup appears, and Klarna checkout continues as normal. After completing the payment in Klarna’s popup, the modal closes, but the customer is never redirected to the order-completed page. Instead, they remain stuck on the checkout page. The WooCommerce order itself is created successfully and set to processing. However, because the order-completed page is never reached, the Facebook Purchase event is not triggered. The issue is reproducible only with Klarna. All other payment methods work as expected in the same environment. A large portion of our customers order directly via Facebook ads and use the in-app browser. This means the bug not only breaks the user experience but also results in missing purchase events, which affects tracking, reporting, and remarketing accuracy. Could you please confirm if this is a known limitation with Klarna in the Facebook browser, or if a fix/workaround is available? Thank you for your support.
