I am using <pre class=”prettyprint”><code class=”language-C”> to enclose some shell script code. I originally tries without the class on the code tag. In either case, the ampersands and angle brackets in my code are shown as html ampersand escapes, evne though they show correctly in the visual editor. Any way I can get around this? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/prettify-code-syntax/ I have same issue … wordpress changes my > to > in text view, looks correct in editor when in visual tab, but reverts to being displayed as > when post is published.
