I changed the maitenance mode (under settings) to display a different text and image. It should like like the image with the plant https://prnt.sc/PXGjT5ImzkRM, but it still looks like before (orange with “This site is inactive”): https://prnt.sc/xk19BZdy5rIT What am I missing here? And do you need credentials? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] Please do NOT send credentials. That’s strictly forbidden on this forum. The page is cached – https://igniteus.org/?nocache Make sure you empty the cache in WP if you have any such plugins, or in your hosting control panel. I sent what you wrote to my developer team. Here’s their response: “The plugin won’t allow the cache to be cleared. This plugin is not only caching the maintenance page but is also interfering with essential backend functionality. Specifically: Even when attempting to access non-cached pages (e.g., https://igniteus.org/?nocache ), the maintenance plugin is still serving cached content. More critically, the plugin is blocking the /wp-json/ REST API endpoints, which are essential for certain features and updates to work properly. This means the plugin is returning the maintenance page’s HTML instead of the necessary API data. Unfortunately, the current plugin’s settings don’t provide an option to exclude the /wp-json/ REST API paths from its maintenance rules, which is creating a roadblock for us.” How can we resolve this? It’s important. Hi, Sorry to hear that, we have had a few reports of REST API getting blocked, but we try to block all access if possible to prevent people from accessing anything on the websites while it is under maintenance mode.
