This is a warning for those considering using the plugin. As you can see below, many users have issues with the plugin just stopping working for a variety of reasons. Our instance of the plugin no longer allows us to add new objects to our SVG map. Just an error that a server error has occurred and the object cannot be created. I have tried reaching out to the developer multiple times, but they have fallen prey to the laziness of allowing an AI chatbot to try to help with support. The AI chatbot gives incorrect information about opening support tickets and links to a dead TickSys site. Even the functionality within the plugin itself links to the dead TickSys site. So, if you are considering this plugin, reconsider. I’ll wait for the developers to join this thread and prove me wrong. I’m still waiting on an email from them since their chatbot always says “we’ll get right back to you”. If there are no replies from the developer to this thread, know that they aren’t supporting the application anymore…. Here’s the link to the TickSys page that the AI chatbot and the plugin directs users to for support. https://mapsvg.ticksy.com/ It gives the error of “This Ticksy account is Inactive. If you are the owner of the account and want to recover it, please contact Ticksy’s support department!” Hi Sean, we replied to you on our new support chat already, and I hope your issue has been resolved. If you still need any help, please let us know. And for others who read this, to avoid misinformation : MapSVG is supported via the chat on mapsvg.com or via the chat integrated into the plugin (it’s available even in our free Lite version). Our customer had a very old version of the plugin (6.0), while the latest is 8.x. In the old version of the plugin, there was a link to our old support desk, Ticksy, which we no longer use as of the end of 2024. So he was clicking the support link in the old plugin, which led to an inactive support desk account. Some features in the plugin were broken because it hadn’t been updated in many years.
