Got the following error message when installing WP Install Profiles plugin >> Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpip_installation_profile_admin_actions() (previously declared in /home/easterba/public_html/wp-content/plugins/WPInstantSite/wpip.php:6) in /home/easterba/public_html/wp-content/plugins/install-profiles/wpip.php on line 99 Seems to be connected with another plugin (WP Instant WordPress) I have which installs admin pages (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy etc) & can do a limited version of your plugin; bulk plugin install. I will delete the other plugin then try re-installing your plugin — because WP says yours is already installed. Clash of the WP Plugin Titans directories, I guess! Any other work-around you can think of? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/install-profiles/ Sorry to hear you’re having trouble–I didn’t realize another plugin had the same naming convention! There is a new release of WP Install Profiles coming soon, and I’ll adjust some of the function names accordingly. In the meantime, the best bet is probably to temporarily deactivate WP Instant WordPress, activate Install Profiles, complete the bulk install, deactivate Install Profiles and re-activate WP Instant WordPress. Thanks for getting back to me with that. I had to delete the plugins’ “shared” folder via FTP then re-install WP Install Profiles. It works very nicely now. Damn handy tool. Shall get more usage out of it over time with each new site. I look forward to your coming new release. 😉
