A domain White list is a great idea, but what I really would love is a domain “black” list. I wish with ALL my heart to be able to black list hotmail.com as a domain email address that users can use to register. I am SO tired of hotmail users spamming double-opt in newsletters. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-domain-whitelist/ This is a good idea. I’ll add this to my task list as an added feature. Can’t guarantee timing, but it’s in the hopper. Thanks for the idea. I went ahead and added blacklist functionality to the plugin. Now the options page allows you to choose a mode (whitelist or blacklist) as well as including an additional box for the blacklist. I realize I could just use a single list of addresses, but this makes it very clear what list is being used. You can grab v1.3 now at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-domain-whitelist/ Let me know if you have any troubles.
