just noticed how old this plugin is, in case anyone wants to try it, appears to be broken, has no effect in twentyten 3.4, all plugins disabled. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/organize-user-uploads/ Hi, just tested it on 3.4.2 and 3.5-beta 2 – it works fine for me. It’s too bad it seems the plugin’s development/support has been abandoned 🙁 It’s such a useful stuff when there are multi-user uploads going on! I probably couldn’t figure out how to use it, can’t remember now. I ended up not needing seperate upload folders, found a function which allows users to only see their own media in admin. Could you share it or give an url to it, please? pastebin I had an odd occuarnce with it, I was using it with other role plugins and at one point couldn’t access my site front end (white screen) , only admin. I got rid of one or two of the role plugins, I thin it was user role editor, and it was fine again. I actually ended up only allowing post editing from the front end “edit” link only, so all I have in the admin menu for authors is profile settings and the “new Post” button. My users only have upload from computer and gallery tabs in the attachment editor, no need to even show the media library tab. If you want to try similar I reccomend the “adminimize” and “inline attachments” plugins. I also have other code to hide additional admin stuff via css. Thanks for all hints, I really appreciate your help!

Hi, just tested it on 3.4.2 and 3.5-beta 2 – it works fine for me. It’s too bad it seems the plugin’s development/support has been abandoned 🙁 It’s such a useful stuff when there are multi-user uploads going on!
