Hi there, I have installed the plugin and links seem to be ok, the taxonomy base is removed when editing a custom taxonomy and clicking on “view”, however the URL give us a 404 error. I have flushed the permalinks and I have tried to remove some other plugins we have installed, such ‘Custom Post Type Permalinks’ or ‘Redirect’, but no luck. Any ideas why the plugin is not working? Thanks in advance. http://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-taxonomy-base-slug/ Is WordPress installed as a network? Thanks for your answer Alexandru. No, our WordPress is a single installation. The rewrite options defining the taxonomy are as follows: 'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'publications', 'with_front' => false, 'hierarchical' => true), Hope it helps to find the error. Can’t replicate using your rewrite settings. If you want me to look further I need more information, email me at alexvornoffice @ gmail . com Hi Alexandru, thanks for your reply. I have sent you an email with more information. @ Alexandru Tried it on one of my sites and it worked like a charm. But planning to put it in a network. Does the plugin support network installation? @couponminister no because of blog slug. So if site will be site.com/blog the permalinks will be broken for your taxonomies… @alexandru In my case – WordPress is installed as network. I have 3 custom taxonomy which i have created from “Custom Post Type UI” Plugin. Which is rewrite rule. Now How to proceed with this ?
