Plugin mess up my layout

Hi, I used previously you plugin on another website in the past and liked very much, fast and clean. Now I’m installing it on a new blog I’m running and encountering a strange issue. Once I enable the plugin and place the “<!– lh_toc –>” inside my content, my layout gets messed up and the TOC display at the bottom of my page, I’m using the Gutenberg editor.
