review · 1 starsThe free plugin description says it can send follow-up emails to customers asking for product reviews. Only after installing it tells you this feature is a pro feature that you have to pay for.
Hi @giladmayani I’m very sorry that you were misled by our description. It wasn’t my intention to catch extra plugin users with a feature that is not available in the free version. Reviews are specifically described in the PRO section, as indeed, creating an automation with a direct link to the reviews tab requires ShopMagic PRO. However, you can partially “omit” it by creating an automation for, let’s say Order Completed status and link to the ordered products, which works fine in free plugin version. On the other hand, a lot of our users create an automation, which links to the Google Reviews, which also works fine in free plugin. Still, it is a review email. That’s why, you can see a word “review” here and there in the description. Nevertheless, I’ll think about that and try to correct the description. I always wondered what will be the cause of the first 1-star review, but to be honest, I did not suspect that it will happen because of the misunderstanding. Would you reconsider changing your review if we update the description? I wish you all the best.

As I wrote earlier: you can partially “omit” it by creating an automation for, let’s say Order Completed status and link to the ordered products, which works fine in free plugin version.
