review · 4 starsUpdate: With the version 1.1.1 update, the bookmarklet now works. I’ve tested it in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and it seems to work just fine now. I use the “Press This” functionality for most of my blog posts. When I upgraded my blog to 4.9 I was shocked that the bookmarklet no longer worked. This morning I tried to use the “Press This” bookmark I had stored in my bookmarks bar and it kept bringing me to my Admin page, which was not at all what I wanted. I was able to find a workaround through searching in the support forum, that had me create a bookmarklet and then update a PHP file. Thank you @robbyslaughter ! I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years and haven’t had to dig into PHP. This would really give newbies a sour taste of WordPress. WordPress is supposed to be easy to use, but IMO, editing PHP is quite daunting and definitely not for newbies. This topic was modified 8 years, 6 months ago by mikepolinske . Howdy, Version 1.1.0 will be released in the next day or so that will restore the bookmarklet. Could you give it a try and update your rating if it is suitable to your purposes? Thanks!

You should be all set now. Thanks for your patience 🙂
Hourra! THX What a nightmare when WordPress lacks ensuring clean following on its own integrations.
