The fact that after 4 years they added minimum requirement PHP 8.1 without notice just from one update to another is a nightmare for developers that will automatically break their site, and for that is -1 star not even 1, I like the latest technologies too but its not for personal work. Hi there, older versions of the plugin are compatible with PHP 7, and you can find them here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/advanced/ . (Choose version 3.0.16 — that one is the last version that supports PHP versions < 8.) While we want to keep the plugin usable by as many people as possible, we also want to keep it safe and use newer versions of PHP that are actively developed. If you need any help getting the older version of the plugin running, let us know. Yeah you want me to have the old version while you develop the safe and new with the bugs fixed, sounds legit. specially when you are suggesting to use something that you are not recommending. “Previous versions of plugins may not be secure or stable. They are not recommended for use on production websites.”
