This looks like a low-priority feature request, but I need it. It’s pretty standard to use date-based post permalinks. I’m surprised that’s not a dealbreaker for enough people who might use this plugin to have implemented it by now. We don’t plan to change from the post-name permalink structure; as far as we can tell, it is still the preferred permalink structure according to folks like Yoast – https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo-url-permalink/
