supportI have Elementor Pro Essentials on several sites and have loaded the PDF.js plugin. I operates normallyon all my sutes except one. On thet site it is an activated plugin but does not show among the Elementor widgets. Further it is not in the Elementor Element Manager. I have deactivated the other Plugins but no help there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
That’s because I don’t have an Elementor widget built out. You can get around this by using the shortcode approach.
Turns out, Elementor might not be too hard to create a widget for. I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks Thomas. That is weird because it shows up as a widget in one of the other sites I manage… But I took that site over from someone else so I have no idea how it got there.
Latest version has an Elementor widget FYI
Thomas- I have updated all of my plugins and PDFjs is 3.1.0. The PDJjs widget still does not appear in my list of widgets. I must be doing something wrong. How do I get to see that in my widgets? I have Elementor Pro installed…… Tim
Sorry to hear that. What version of Elementor Pro do you have? I don’t know that it’d make a difference, but you never know. And are you using the v4 editor or the default one? Just trying to narrow in on how I can reproduce the issue.
Ok, looks like I may have already fixed this in the next release. Hopefully it’s only a few days away.
OK – so I have Elementor version 4.0.2. Using the default one.
New version released. Hopefully this works for you.
Thomas sorry to report that after updating to 3.1.1 I still don’t see the widget in the available widgets. Do I need to enable or install something to make it show up?
That’s disappointing. It’s there and should be automatically active if it detects Elementor. Works for me locally so not sure why it wouldn’t work for you. I’ll keep digging.
Maybe I am doing something wrong? Do I have to do anything special to get it to show up? Maybe uninstall and then reinstall?
Just FYI I deleted the plugin and reloaded it. No change.
