PDF’s and other documents do not open in a new window. It always used to work so not sure if the latest WordPress has changed something? External links open in a new window fine it is just local links such as pdf’s?? https://wordpress.org/plugins/open-in-new-window-plugin/ There is an option on the plugin page to do this. I will check to see that it is working. Keith It is likely related to this issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-working-1420?replies=3 Did you check to see if there is an issue? I need the URL of your website to check it. Please send it to me. Some versions of Chrome do not support open-in-new window. The properties on links is not supported. I think newer versions of Chrome put it back. Please try with other browsers just to see. Also make sure that you have the check box for opening PDFs in a new window checked. Keith I have the option checked an have tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE and Microsoft Edge, none work. Can I send a private message to you with URL’s (I have 3 websites, same on all 3 and it used to work previously on all 3) Leave a comment with the URL on http://www.blogseye.com with the URL. I will not approve the comment so nobody will see it. Keith Fixed. I made several very dumb mistakes when I converted the plugin to my new format. It seems to be working now. Please try to download at http://www.blogseye.com/beta-test-plugins/ Let me know if that fixes it. Keith Yes that has worked, many thanks for this! When can we expect the beta to go live? Any word on this? Any word on this? I will have a long weekend and I hope that I will find time to fix one last bug and commit to WordPress. Keith Hi Keith, Just wanted to see if you’re close to committing to WP yet? 😉
