I work as a web designer and has made several new web sites for different businesses. In this case with yet another new website I can see there is some options missing and I cant figure out why. On all the other sites I have made I have a parent checkbox option in the quick edit on each page. But not for this new website. The writing parent is there but not the checkbox. So I can not choose the front page for this web site. What can i do? Also if I navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Reading I find that the entire top section is missing. Does this has something to do with it? And how may I fix that? I have tried to deactivate all plugins and also tried to change theme if this could mess up something. But still no parent page option. The site is updated to the newest WP upgrade. Except these to things the rest (as I can see) looks to be good. I so appreciate all help. I’m feeling really lost here.
