In https://wordpress.org/support/topic/option-to-disable-security-checks/ an option was added to enable/disable all checks. But I only wanted to disable the bruteforce testing because this is a very particular class of test regarding my system-configuration and limitations. A simple filter hook to filter checks (or a wp_options accepting a list of check’s names) would be far better than what’s been provided in 1.15.2
