Your plugin just auto-updated on my site about 10 minutes ago, and it broke the site. I got a site-down notification, and the homepage showed this error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.1.0”. I used Recovery Mode to log in and deactivate SMTP2GO, and the site came back up. My site is running PHP 8.0. Is 8.1 now required? Update: as soon as I opened this thread, I started disabling auto-updates for SMTP2GO for my other sites that are still on PHP 8.0. (The majority are on 8.1 or 8.2 but not all.) Before I could get to them all, one of the others auto-updated, about 4 minutes ago, and it broke the site in exactly the same way. I’ve used Recovery Mode to disable the plugin there also. Please advise. Thank you. Hi Matt, so sorry about this we are trying to track down the issue. Really appreciate the bug report, we have updated the PHP requirements to 8.1. You can rollback by installing the .zip file from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/smtp2go.1.5.6.zip Mark, thank you. I’ve rolled back the 2 sites that had already updated, and will keep the others on 1.5.6 in the first place. I appreciate the very quick response! Thanks for your understanding, we isolated the issue and are going to see if it’s worthwhile looking into a backwards compatibility release. However I think we will probably continue to require PHP 8.1 moving forward. I’ll leave this thread open as it could help anyone else who has updated. Thanks again
