review · 1 starsAt first, it constantly loses the token so I had to configure the plugin every day. Today, the whole website was down due to a fatal error. Uncaught TypeError: strtotime(): Argument #1 ($datetime) must be of type string, array given in /wp-content/plugins/widgets-for-youtube-video-feed/trustindex-feed-plugin.class.php:294 Stack trace: #0 wp-content/plugins/widgets-for-youtube-video-feed/trustindex-feed-plugin.class.php(294): strtotime(Array) #1 Everyday is something new with this plugin. After a month of usage I belive it is not worth the time.
Hi @sendesign , Thank you for taking the time to share this! I completely understand how frustrating this experience must have been. I’ve forwarded your message and the details you provided to our IT team. The specific error you mentioned has already been identified and resolved. Regarding the token expiring repeatedly, that issue also needs a deeper look from the developers, so I’ll need to ask for your patience while they investigate it properly. We’re hopeful that it will be resolved soon with an update. We’ll let you know as soon as we have new information on this. If you notice anything else unusual in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket. We’ll be glad to assist you. Best regards, Akos from Trustindex
Hi @sendesign , Thanks for your patience! I wanted to share a temporary workaround while our team is working on a permanent fix. For now, if you’d like the videos in the widget to refresh, you may need to click on resolve in the settings of the plugin. That said, this does not need to be done daily. In the case of YouTube, video URLs themselves do not expire, so if you only upload new videos occasionally (for example, once a week), it’s enough to resolve the token after a new video is uploaded. The alert you’re seeing can safely be ignored for now, the widget will continue to display properly without any loss of content. We know this isn’t ideal, but this approach will keep everything working smoothly until the issue is fully resolved. Thanks again for your understanding, and we really appreciate you sticking with us while we sort this out. Best regards, Akos from Trustindex
