The basic idea is good, but the plugin isn’t working as expected. On orders that are done through the website (not in the backend), the stock gets reduced twice always (so if somebody orders 10 pieces, the stock gets reduced by 2×10 piec es)…so we had to uninstall it again… This is actually related to a bug caused by changes in the WooCommerce platform since the last plugin release. There are several fixes proposals from the community but the author @claudiosanches is not responding/reacting for months already… https://github.com/claudiosanches/reduce-stock-of-manual-orders-for-woocommerce/pulls @bedengler this plugin is only for orders made on the backend. @claudiosanchez – thanks for your reply. Yes, but as described in other threads (see above), this makes it useless as every order that comes NOT from the backend reduces the stock twice! So the stock is never true… Is there no solution to prevent that? In addition on every change of the order status the stock gets reduced. Did you try it for yourself? If you do, you’ll see it immediately… Thanks again for your work. @bedengler I still can’t understand it, in the plugin’s name and description makes it clear that it is for manual requests in the backend, and nothing else. And this problem about reducing twice as a bug that is already fixed in version 2.0.0.
