MailPoet Version 5.26.1 + MailPoet Premium 5.26.0 Sign-up confirmation setting : Sign-up confirmation is mandatory when using the MailPoet Sending Service . Newsletters are sent, no problem, so the MailPoet Sending Service is working good. The Send with… tab shows: You’re now sending with MailPoet! – Reach the inbox, not the spam box. – Easy configuration: enter a key to activate the sending service. – Super fast: send up to 50,000 emails per hour. – All emails are signed with SPF & DKIM. – Automatically remove invalid and bounced addresses (bounce handling) to keep your lists clean. But new subscribers never receive the sign-up confirmation email , thus never being able to receive any new newsletter… These emails are not received as spam (verified). What is going wrong? Hi, I hope someone help me. 🙂 Here’s what I’ve been trying so far: change the sending method to my own SMTP server for the same (lack of) result. activate the log for all events, here’s what I can see following (I guess) a new subscription: mss [2026-05-17T09:34:35.864431+00:00] mss.INFO: requests-curl.after_request {"headers":"HTTP/1.1 201 Created\r\nDate: Sun, 17 May 2026 09:34:35 GMT\r\nContent-Type: application/json\r\nContent-Length: 0\r\nConnection: close\r\nx-content-type-options: nosniff\r\nStrict-Transport-Security: max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains\r\n\r\n","curl_info":{"url":"https://bridge.mailpoet.com/api/v0/messages","content_type":"application/json","http_code":201,"header_size":228,"request_size":798,"filetime":-1,"ssl_verify_result":0,"redirect_count":0,"total_time":0.079229,"namelookup_time":0.000511,"connect_time":0.010911,"pretransfer_time":0.025339,"size_upload":493.0,"size_download":0.0,"speed_download":0.0,"speed_upload":6222.0,"download_content_length":0.0,"upload_content_length":493.0,"starttransfer_time":0.079207,"redirect_time":0.0,"redirect_url":"","primary_ip":"2a01:7e01:1::ac69:9259","certinfo":[],"primary_port":443,"local_ip":"2a02:4780:27:1234::ec","local_port":17844,"http_version":2,"protocol":2,"ssl_verifyresult":0,"scheme":"https","appconnect_time_us":25275,"connect_time_us":10911,"namelookup_time_us":511,"pretransfer_time_us":25339,"redirect_time_us":0,"starttransfer_time_us":79207,"total_time_us":79229,"effective_method":"POST"}} {"free_plugin_version":"5.26.1","premium_plugin_version":"5.26.0"} I must add that, as site admin I receive an email mentioning the new subscription for the given email address. At least, desptite the new subscriber doesn’t receive the confirmation mail, I can manually confirm the address, as a workaround. I’ve been using MailPoet for maybe ten years or more without any trouble. It’s been the job so far, I really hope someone help me to sort it out rapidly. I’m ready to give any extra information needed for that. Hi @manup-1 , Sorry for the delay getting back to you on this. Can you share the domain name of the affected website so we can check your account for any blocks? Thanks! Hi and thanks @lynnjat7 The domain in question is: lepassepartout.fr Hi @manup-1 , I’ve checked everything from our side and all looks good. You’re not blocked from sending, your domain is fully validated and not blacklisted. I can see that yesterday and today, several successful emails were sent with the subject line “Confirmation d’abonnement à l’infolettre du blog lepassepartout.fr.” These were all sent through our system with SMTP code 250 which means successful sending with no errors, and acknowledged as received by the recipient’s service. All of these were sent to the same email address, so I’m wondering if that email has blocked your site or is filtering your email addresses for some reason. Can you ask this subscriber to check their spam boxes for the confirmation email? or ask them to ask their service provider to whitelist your site? Additionally, I’d recommend testing a sign-up yourself with an alternate email address on a different domain to verify that the confirmation emails are getting through. Thanks again @lynnjat7 for the reply! I confirm what you write about these few (not much) “Confirmation…” mails you saw. They’re all my tests to some catchall addresses on one of my other domains. Let me summarize what is not working: someone enter a mail address in the field “Adresse mail” in this page . (right column) then selects the correct picture in the “captcha” and click on “JE M’ABONNE !” I, as the admin, receive a mail telling me there’s a new try to subscribe to the newsletter the subscriber never receives the confirmation mail in which s⋅he is supposed to click on the confirmation link I don’t see the new subscriber in the unconfirmed list (nor anywhere else) If I’m OK to subscribe him or her, I manually add him/hem to the list as confirmed, because if I subscribe him/hem as unconfirmed and click in Resend confirmation mail, nothing happens. Now, the “Confirmation…” mails you saw are the ones I sent from the Preview in the “Edit template for Confirmation emails” section. I hope theses explanations give you enough clue on this issue. Ah sorry, I need to correct one point in what I wrote. When I manually add the address as a subscriber to a list and click on “Resend confirmation email”, it takes a variable amount of time, but the confirmation email containing the link eventually arrives. So I still need to figure out why it doesn’t work automatically, without me having to add it to the list myself and then click on ‘Resend confirmation email’… Hello, I don’t know how to make it up to you! The reason behind all this is painfully simple (for me, at least!); a while ago, I replaced the MailPoet subscription form with another one that allows me to filter all subscription requests. It is therefore clear that MailPoet does not handle this stage of the newsletter subscription process. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.
