I installed the plugin via the wordpress plugin site. Then I activated it, following the instructions on the installation info here. But unfortunately I could not do the next step, changing some settings in the settings > Post Access Controller, because in my settings is no such entry. “Settings” contains all settings from other plugins, but post access controller is missing. Any idea why? Thanks in advance! https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-access-controller/ This is a bug in the latest version that I’m working on resolving. You should be able to revert to version 0.9.2 and get a functioning version in the meantime. https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/post-access-controller.0.9.2.zip Thanks for the link. I installed that older version, and the settings panel is there now, but when I try to enter it, I get 4 warnings and 1 fatal error where it says it cannot open settings.php. I appreciate you put so much work into that plugin, and I encourage you to please work on an updated version functioning on WP 4.1. It looks SO useful! Hi, any update on this bug? I can’t for the life of me find another plugin that enables you to restrict access to posts at the specific user level… A fix would be fantastic – I too can’t ‘see’ the menu in Settings. Cheers. Hi rumbers, did you try the “User Access Manager”? It worked for my purposes. https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-access-manager/
