supportHey there! When the woo-order-test plugin is active and a user is logged in in WP / on the WooCommerce shop then all payment gateways disappear from the checkout page, also the Test Gateway doesn’t show up. Deactivating the plugin restores all available gateways. Happens for us with most recent WordPress 6.6.1, WooCommerce 9.14 and WooCommerce Order Test 3.2. Downgrading WooCommerce to 9.0.2 would also let the gateways reappear without deactivating your plugin. Could you please have a look at it? Thanks Aaron
We just released an update which should correct us. Let us know if not. This reply was modified 1 year, 9 months ago by WP Fix It - WordPress Experts .
@wpfixit No it doesn’t seem like it fixed the issue. Or did the plugin behaviour change? I remember that the plugin added an additional “test” Gateway to the checkout page. Now it seems to completely remove the whole “payment gateways” if enabled and inserts the green notice on top. So it seems like that might be the expected behaviour. Am I confusing the plugin with another similar one? Thanks for letting me know and sorry for any potential trouble.
The functionality you’re describing is how the plugin used to work. Changes to WooCommerce triggered us to reconfigure the functionality of the plugin. The end result here is to test the checkout process and doing that means you do not need other active gateways present that require payment. So now when you activate the test gateway it will hide all other gateways on the checkout page for the admin user only. There’s no need to display the other gateways because if you’re testing the check out you would not be using these. This is a much better and more efficient process to test your check out and requires less steps as well . You can see how this is activated in the image below.
