I don’t know if I’m doing this properly. The drop down menus work fine on the desktop, but as soon as you implement them in a the mobile menu, a 2nd modal comes up with the drop down child pinned to the top with along with a close button…when it should be appearing below the parent menu item. I know the mobile menu is stacked…but is there anyway to have the submenu attach to the parent in mobile mode? Or do I have to use CSS? This topic was modified 4 months, 1 week ago by jaycanuck74 . I don’t understand why we cant just have dropdown menus and not the popup on mobile This reply was modified 3 months ago by Ohia ᚛ᚈᚐᚂᚐᚋᚆ᚜ . Hi there, This is more tricky than it might seem. Because we have to account for literally hundreds of different ways people might use mega menus, we have to come up with the most practical and likely use case and account for that in the mobile layout. Most people have advanced or very customized mega menus, and they can’t simply be shown below their related menu item, they need more screen real estate. That’s why we take up the whole window. However, Menu Designer also let’s you design a custom mobile menu separate from your mega menu. So if you want, you can have a mega menu on desktop, but design a simpler mobile menu and use that instead. Between these two options, hopefully you can find something that works! We’ll be doing a round of updates to Menu Designer shortly, so stay tuned for some improvements.
