supportHi Guido, first up, thanks very much for making this plugin, I鈥檝e been using it for over 3 years now 馃檪 In the last few days though, mail messages haven鈥檛 been coming through to my email address. Been working fine up until then. I did update to 17.3 a few days ago, and that鈥檚 about when the messages seemed to stop coming through. I鈥檝e looked at the FAQ page and see there鈥檚 a few things I could try, change some settings etc, but as the plugin鈥檚 worked fine until now, I don鈥檛 want to change too many settings. I did remove the page with the contact form from my caching plugin, but that didn鈥檛 seem to help, text messages are still not coming through. Are there other things I could try? Thnx, J
Hi Guido, a few messages have started coming through. So it looks like things are OK. Some messages still aren鈥檛 getting through, so it maybe it鈥檚 a filtering issue of some sort that I鈥檒l look into. Thanks again 馃檪
Hi, Are you already using an SMTP plugin? That鈥檚 a better and more secure way of sending mail. Less change an email is not delivered or marked as spam. Guido
@guido07111975 , thanks for the follow up. I did look at SMTP plugins but they seemed to be for ppl who were sending messages from their websites not receiving them (tho I guess in a way VSCF does send emails). But the VSCF had always worked very well so I never gave the matter another thought. In the situation last week, some messages weren鈥檛 arriving at all (ppl were saying they鈥檇 been trying to contact me in post comments). Test messages I sent did get through, but often hours later. Anyway, I did finally install a SMTP plugin, and now messages are arriving straightaway. Thanks again for checking in 馃檪
