Maxmind Database Download Issue

Hi Folks, A few users have reported that the Maxmind Geoip files are not downloading after clicking the download button in the notice on the dashboard. These files are completely optional and are mainly there in case one of the third-party APIs stop working – so you can just click the “ignore” button and should be good to go. That said, you can always install the files manually like this: 1. Download these two files… a. https://sourceforge.net/projects/geoipupdate/files/GeoIPv4.dat/download b. https://sourceforge.net/projects/geoipupdate/files/GeoIPv6.dat/download 2. If it doesn’t already exist, create a folder in ‘wp-content/uploads’ called ‘geoip’ 3. Put the files in the geoip folder 4.
