Hi, I’m experiencing a critical issue with the Feeds for YouTube plugin. It’s generating malformed CSS URLs like: /wp-content/plugins/feeds-for-youtube/css/https://www.website.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/feeds-for-youtube/public/build/css/sb-youtube-common.css This results in repeated requests and broken asset loading. Additionally, the plugin is throwing fatal errors in cron: Uncaught Exception: String could not be parsed as XML /wp-content/plugins/feeds-for-youtube/inc/SBY_RSS_Connect.php:77 This appears to be causing periodic CPU spikes and 5xx errors on the server. Hi @seopie , For the first issue with broken CSS, we are investigating a potential conflict with Elementor where the plugin loads both the correct CSS and broken similar to the link snippet you shared. I have not received any reports of the second issue with the 5xx errors, after wp-cron functions run. To investigate both issues further, please submit a support request via the form on our website, https://smashballoon.com/support/ , and include the System Info. To obtain this information, please follow the steps on this page: https://smashballoon.com/doc/how-to-get-system-info . We ask you to use our form, as the System Info contains other website information from your site, which we do not suggest posting here. Best Regards, Hi @seopie , Thanks for reaching out! We are working on publishing an update with a fix for this issue. In the meantime, we have a copy of the plugin with the fix included that you can manually install here: https://a.supportally.com/f/XS6cRx . To install this without affecting your current settings and feeds, please follow these steps: Download the version of the plugin linked above. Upload it via your WordPress Plugins page by clicking on Add New > Upload Plugin Click Install Click Replace current with uploaded I hope this helps! If this does not resolve the issue, or if you need any other assistance, please let us know. Thanks! Louis Thanks for the quick response(s). I will test this now. Kind regards, Ben Hi @seopie , It’s our pleasure to help! The version that I linked to includes a fix for the malformed CSS URLs, but if you continue to see the second cron related issue, please submit a support request on website as Nigel mentioned, and we’ll be happy to investigate this further. Thanks! Louis Hi @smashballoonlouis Was the fix made for the malformed CSS URLs in the last version update? Thanks Paul
