supportI’m testing Qi because it looks promising, yet multiple issues arose in the first minute of using. I started with Blocksy theme enabled, multiple fields were blanked in yr plugin on-boarding. There was no notice of any required theme or incompatibility with Blocksy. I disabled Blocksy theme, activated Twenty-Three theme, and the fields then appeared. You have MULTIPLE links in your advertising dominated Welcome page going to 404’s. I don’t know if it’s against WordPress rules, but it’s not only distasteful having your advertising dominate the *functional* interface for your plugin (WordPress.org is FREE utilities, it’s fine to advertise but very much against the spirit to make ads the PRIMARY part of your functional interface), it also works against your own aims – to make sales. Put your features and utility first, to incentivise upgrades, not your advertising. This is very much the wrong user-base/market to approach with ads first – doing so will likely get you a lot more 1 star reviews than intentionally constructive-criticism messages like this. Having a plugin in the WP repo IS literally utility & function first, don’t fight against this principle in your interface. I actually installed Qi because I’m interested in pro Gutenberg theme/block libraries – I actually WANT to support and pay for WP Gutenberg development, and to get Pro support. Yet I’ll now be exploring other block and theme libraries before I revisit Qi. I hope you take these points to heart, I would love to revisit when you’re offering is further matured. Good luck.
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We have tested Qi Blocks with Blocksy theme on our local installation and we haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. Could you please provide us with screenshots of the issues you’ve experienced so we can investigate this further? Also, thank you for letting us know about 404 pages on the Welcome page, this will be fixed in the next update. If you need to check any example of how Qi Blocks elements can be used you can check here https://qodeinteractive.com/qi-blocks-for-gutenberg/ Free Qi Blocks plugin version has 48 free blocks which can be used to create various beautiful layouts. The premium version is a separate plugin with additional 33 blocks, however, it is up to user if they want to use the premium version. Best, Qode
Hi, some feedback: i don’t have any sense you actually listened or responded to the issues I raised, which along with the very fundamental (and easily avoided) problems I experienced, means I wont be using Qi hence wont be seeking support. Best of luck.
Hi, We are sorry to hear this. Once again thank you for your feedback and have a great day! Best, Qode
Hi, After further investigation we managed to reproduce the problem with the Qi Blocks setup wizard on Blocksy theme. The fix is now included in the update (please see changelog ). Thank you once again for your feedback! Best, Qode
Thanks. Could you please share why your first response said the opposite and now some weeks later it’s changed? You still haven’t responded to the very clear issues with your interface that I provided in 1st msg.
