supportI have a client who wishes to put my subscription service in their library catalogue and have patrons access it via the weblink without having to use login details (username & password). Is this a possibility through this plugin? Could it be that memberpress can recognise the IP address or Eproxy server and log them in automatically without having to put in the login details? Hi, Yes this plugin will do exactly what you are looking for. This plugin supports EZProxy. After installing IP Based Login you can access WordPress admin panel and add the IPS provided by the university (EZProxy IP) and when any student will access your site they will be automatically logged in without login credentials. Try it its Free. Let me know if you face any issues.
Hi, Thank you for this information. I have installed the plugin and am testing it out on my IP address first but I would like to know how to set the pages for login. For example, when I add the IP address, it says that I can access the homepage but the homepage is not protected anyway. Do I need to get the pro-version to enable the webpages that are protected to be able to be accessible via the IP address?
When you add the IP address you can choose the username i.e. which user the visitor should be logged into. By default the user is redirected to the homepage. In order to redirect the visitor to any other desired page you will need the Pro version.
Okay thank you. Is there any opportunity to do a free trial with the paid version to check it is working how I need it to?
Unfortunately we do not have a trial plan for the Pro version yet.
