This morning I tried to login to my site and it says “Error – too many failed login attempts. Please try again in 66 hours.” There are no other users at my IP address, and that was my first login attempt. My username and password were correct, The error message appeared before I even made it to the 2-factor code request screen. I was logged in yesterday without issue. I get email copies of the failed login attempts – and there were none with my username/password/ip address (the emails were for logins from outside the country). I just updated my wordpress to the current version on Wednesday, I never had any issues with wordfence login prior to today. This topic was modified 4 days, 23 hours ago by Christine227 .
