Hi, I have been tasked with the job to create a mastersite ie: site.com I then need to create a ‘mini’ site for each location where my client has an office by way of a subdomain ie: loc1.site.com As the master site will have the important pages like terms and conditions and privacy policy but the client would like to load these pages onto the ‘mini’ location sites too. This causes me 2 problems duplicating these pages and keeping them upto date. Would this plaugin allow me to load in a page from the mastersite into a minisite? For example: loc1.site.com/terms_and_conditions loads the content from site.com/terms_and_conditions ? So keeping the url as loc1.site.com/terms_and_conditions and meaning if i need to update the page terms_and_conditions i just need to do it in one place (the mastersite) Thanks Trevor Absolutely. Just check the box ‘create link’ when first copying the main page to the sub site. That way every time you update the ‘master page’ this will also update the corresponding sub sites pages too! Excellent. And does it actually create the page on the subsite? or does it actually pull the page from the master site but remain on the same url as the subsite? No. A new page is created in the sub site database. 🙂 Ah ok. and to ‘create/link’ these pages i assume its done in the subsite admin not the mastersite admin? And to confirm … once its created in the subsite, it will autoupdate when i update the linked page in the mastersite? Links are created in master site in metabox on page. Yes autoupdste as long as link remains! top man – thank you
