Hi, the product layouts created with the plugin have always worked correctly on my site. Until a few days ago the layouts displayed on the frontend exactly as they appear in the layout builder preview. Now something has changed: the preview inside the builder still shows the correct custom layout, but when I place the shortcode on a page the products appear with a different style on the frontend. I tried inserting the shortcode on different pages (including a new empty page) and the result is always the same. Nothing was changed in the layout settings themselves and they are still saved correctly in the builder. Example shortcode used: [wpte_product_layout id=“2”] Could you please check what might cause the frontend to display a different style than the one shown in the builder preview? Thank you. This topic was modified 2 months, 3 weeks ago by zuvih4g . The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] Hi, Thank you for your message. Recently, if any new plugin was installed or updated on the site, it may cause a CSS or JavaScript conflict which can affect how the layout appears on the frontend. To help identify the issue, could you please provide the following information: A screenshot of the layout preview inside the builder A screenshot of how the layout appears on the frontend The theme you are currently using Whether you recently installed or updated any plugins With this information, I will be able to check the possible cause and help you resolve the problem. Looking forward to your reply. Best regards, Richard Hi Richard, thank you for your reply. Here is the information you asked for. Layout preview in the builder ( screenshot) Layout on the frontend ( screenshot) As you can see, the layout appears correctly in the builder preview but shows a different style when rendered on the frontend. Theme currently in use: Kadence. Regarding plugins: nothing specific was changed in the layout settings. Some plugins may have been updated automatically by WordPress, but the layouts themselves were not modified. This layout has been working correctly for a long time and the issue started only recently. Also, this behaviour is the same across the entire site. It happens on every page where the shortcode is used and on all the layouts I created (I have many of them). The correct products are displayed, so the layout ID seems to be read correctly, but the frontend ignores all the styling created in the builder (fonts, colors, layout view, etc.) and always shows the same default style instead. In the builder preview everything still appears exactly as I designed it. Let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you. Hi, Thank you for the detailed information and screenshots. I noticed that your site is not using the latest version of the plugin. Please try updating the plugin to the latest version first. Before updating, I strongly recommend creating a full backup of your website (files and database) to avoid any unexpected issues. After updating, please check the layout again on the frontend. Also, if you are using any caching plugin or CDN (such as server cache or Cloudflare), please clear/purge the cache after the update. Sometimes cached CSS or JavaScript files can cause the frontend to display an older or default style. Please try these steps and let me know if the issue still persists. Best regards, Richard I checked the plugin page in WordPress but there are currently no updates available. The installed version is 1.3.5. I also cleared the site caches and Cloudflare cache, but the layout on the frontend still appears with the default style instead of the custom layout created in the builder. Please let me know if there is a newer version available or if there is something else I should check. Thank you Hi, Thank you for checking and for the update. Since the plugin is already on the latest version and the cache has been cleared, the issue may be caused by a plugin conflict . Could you please try the following test: Temporarily deactivate other plugins on your site (except WooCommerce and Product Layouts for WooCommerce). After deactivating them, check the page again where the shortcode is used. If the layout appears correctly, then reactivate the other plugins one by one and check the page each time. This process will help identify if another plugin is conflicting with the layout styles on the frontend. If possible, please also let me know which plugins you are currently using on the site. Looking forward to your reply. Best regards, Richard Hi Richard, I performed the test you suggested. I temporarily deactivated all plugins one by one and kept only WooCommerce, the payment plugins and Gelato active. The result did not change. The layout on the frontend still appears with the default style instead of the custom styling created in the builder. So it seems the issue is not caused by a conflict with another plugin. Also, I noticed that the plugin shows a warning saying it has not been tested with the current version of WordPress. Could this issue possibly be related to compatibility with the latest WordPress or WooCommerce versions? Please let me know what else I can check. Thank you. Hi, Thank you for sharing. Yes, we are currently working on a major update for this plugin, which caused the delay. We will release the latest version of the plugin very soon (possibly this week). You can either wait for the upcoming update or contact our support team here: https://wpkin.com/contact-us/ Our technical team will be happy to assist you further. Hi, A new version of the plugin ( v1.4.1 ) has just been released. Please update the plugin to the latest version and check again if the issue has been resolved on your site. After updating, let me know if everything is working correctly or if you still experience the same problem. Best regards, Richard Hi Richard, Thank you for your update. I have immediately updated both WordPress and your plugin to the latest version (v1.4.1), but unfortunately the issue is still exactly the same. The layout appears correctly inside the builder preview, but when I use the shortcode on the frontend, it displays a default style instead — while still loading the correct products. So the logic works, but the styling (fonts, colors, layout) is completely different from what I configured. At this point, I’m really struggling to understand what could be causing this. I have more than 100 different layouts across my site, and I even considered exporting all of them (which would need to be done one by one), uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin completely… but I’m concerned that after importing everything back, the issue might still persist. Could you please help me understand: what could override the frontend styling while keeping the correct layout logic? if there are known conflicts (theme, cache, CSS/JS minification, etc.) that could cause this behavior? if there is a way to debug which styles are being ignored or overridden? At this stage, I really need guidance on how to isolate the root cause, because the plugin is currently not usable on my frontend. Thank you in advance for your support. Best regards, Sara Hi Sara, Thank you for the detailed explanation and for trying the update. Since the issue is still persisting even after updating to v1.4.1 , it may require a deeper investigation of your site environment to identify what is overriding the frontend styles. To assist you properly, please contact our support team here: https://oxilab.dev/support/ Please include the following information in your message: The page URL where the shortcode is used A short description of the issue Our team will review the case and help you identify the root cause. Best regards, Richard Hi Richard, Thank you for your reply. tried to contact your support through the form you provided, but unfortunately it does not work. I consistently get the error: “Security verification failed, please refresh and try again.” I have tried multiple browsers (including incognito mode and different environments), but the issue persists, so I’m currently unable to submit a support request through your system. Could you please provide an alternative way to contact support (email or another form), or assist me directly here? Thank you in advance for your help. Hi, Thank you for letting me know. Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you are seeing (“Security verification failed”)? This will help me check what might be causing the issue. Also, please make sure: You are not using any VPN or proxy You try from a different network if possible Once I see the screenshot, I’ll guide you further or provide an alternative way to proceed. Best regards, Richard Hello, This thread has been inactive for a bit, so I’m going to mark it as Resolved now. Please feel free to open a new one if you have any further questions. Regards, Richard
