Some of the Ajax/JS functionality are not working in WordPress admin. I can see the following error in browser console: dcmg-box-image.js:4 Uncaught TypeError: $(...).live is not a function at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (dcmg-box-image.js:4) at i (load-scripts.php?c=1&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=314981a4648d5005f5f9e68f44c2221a:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (load-scripts.php?c=1&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=314981a4648d5005f5f9e68f44c2221a:2) at Function.ready (load-scripts.php?c=1&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=314981a4648d5005f5f9e68f44c2221a:2) at HTMLDocument.J (load-scripts.php?c=1&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=314981a4648d5005f5f9e68f44c2221a:2) If I disable Dublin Core Metadata Generator plugin, then everything starts working again and there will be no error in the browser console. I’m not sure if this is related, but I was unable to see some of my other plugin’s settings (graphically displayed) after upgrading to WordPress 5.5 (TinyMCE Advanced and JoomUnited’s WP Media Folder). Deactivating this plugin fixed the error. Some of my other plugins were not working. Then I checked the browser console and found the above error. Deactivating this plugin resolved the issue.
