This plugin is dangerous because it can disrupt the entire site at any moment. It may work with you for a while, but believe me, there will come a moment when your site does not work due to these changes. Why you are not providing any kind of information regarding the problem ( if there is one.. ) ? And the “believe me” sentence is a joke. Obviously, the plugin is perfectly stable and you don’t have to take my word for it, check the WordPress statistics https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-hide-security-enhancer/advanced/ over 80000 active installs and the plugin is available for years now. Maya (@tdgu) is absolutely right I installed this plugin (wp-hide-security-enhancer) a few minutes back and now I cannot login to my site. Inspite of deactivating the plugin folder it is not helping. I think it made changes to .htaccess and other important files that is blocking opening of the dashboard. Naturally, the reaction will be delete this plugin and use some other.
