Hello, I was hoping to use WPVivid to migrate a site built locally with WPLocal to replace a live site but encountered an error on my local version: wpvivid_request: error(Forbidden): an error occurred when trying to establish communication with your server. This error may be request not reaching or server not responding. Please try again later. Looking around for help I found this under a closed troubleshooting thread: 6. Localbyflywheel environment The error is typically triggered when you are using the auto migration feature in a Localbyflywheel environment. Cause: The error could be caused by a curl issue on Localbyflywheel. Solution: Try to migrate manually, i.e., download the backup to your computer, then upload it to the destination site. Migrating manually is not what I want to do. Has there been and resolution to this compatibility issue? Hello, First, the destination server’s firewall or security configurations may be blocking incoming upload requests from LocalWP. Second, there may be an underlying cURL issue within the LocalWP environment—likely due to proxy settings, SSL misconfigurations, or local restrictions—that prevents stable communication with remote servers. Since these are environmental rather than plugin-specific issues, the most reliable workaround is to manually download the backup and upload it to the live site for restoration. Kind regards.
