supportI have tried this tonight on a couple of pages on my site; I don’t know why I get the error message “Inspector is disabled.” when I click on “Edit with yellow pencil”. I have been using Yellow Pencil on a number of sites, both paid and free versions, and I have not seen this before—this is a classic-block page, is that the difference? Does it have to do with WP6.03? Thanks for any suggestions. The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
hello there, This error is not related to our plugin. When I right-click on your website and open the inspector, I get an “inspector has been disabled” error. It looks like it’s caused by another plugin or theme on your site. I would suggest you disable the plugins one by one and check if this error persists. Best regards
Thanks; I will do that. I have another site, also on same host, which does not have the problem; I will compare plug-in lists and see what is different. Hoping it is not the theme. . . . I appreciate the timely reply. I went through the plug-ins; deactivating WP Hide and Security Enhancer restored Yellow Pencil functionality (i.e., no “Inspector is disabled.” message); honestly, that was probably beyond my skill level to use safely. Thanks for your assistance. This reply was modified 3 years, 7 months ago by sallijane . Reason: report on issue resolution
