Have just checked your link and I can see all 3 events in the calendar displayed on the correct date in the upcoming list https://www.kieranoshea.com/dropbox/calendar_dates_correct.png
@kieranoshea I have solved the issue. It was showing wrong due to Default time zone which was UTC -8 due to that upcoming events was showing one day before. I Have set to UTC and it works fine. Thanks Abdullah
Hi Kieran, I am having the same issue as Abdullah in that the sidebar shows 1 day earlier than the actual event date – https://www.spswoodturners.org/calendar . The timezone in my general settings is set to Los Angeles which is the zone our organization is in (Seattle). If I change the timezone to UTC, as Abdullah did, the date displays correctly. But that will show wrong post times on my future posts. I did not have this issue prior to the last update. Currently on 1.3.14. Thanks, Tim
Hello @awesomeopp Yes, exactly that’s the issue we have. If you are sure that in last update it was working, then I guess we should use the last version only. Thanks Abdullah
Thanks for the report – I will look into what has changed and why that is not now taking into account the time zone settings – it certainly should be
Another piece of data – the Happening Today widget works correctly. The Upcoming Events widget is the one that is off by a day.
