supportHi, I just updated my WP do version 4.8 and I realized that “dns-prefetch” is still visible in the header. <link rel=’dns-prefetch’ href=’//s.w.org’ /> My site is: Gracz.org Could you fix this in next release? Regards, Adrian
Seems like it is fixed in the version on GitHub. https://github.com/ryanhellyer/disable-emojis/commit/b4eae0452117f85e7463b2247b4ee1b4872b5424
I’ll be releasing that new version onto WordPress.org soon (perhaps later today). I just put it on GitHub initially so that people could test it first.
Hi Ryan, I’ve tested the new version on several sites and unfortunately it doesn’t work.
Yeah, I noticed that too, which is why it’s not live on WordPress.org yet :/
I’ve updated it now. https://github.com/ryanhellyer/disable-emojis/ This seems to be working. I’ll be testing it right now, and pushing it to the dot org repo within the next hour. Sorry for the delay in fixing this and thanks for reminding me about it. People kept sending code to me, but it didn’t work, so I fixed it myself just now.
The update is being pushed to the WordPress.org repository right now.
Thanks Ryan, now it works perfectly.
