Improvement suggestion and issues (tested 1.5.7)

Hi, this topic is for report what can be improved and what is not working for me in 1.5.7 that still be an issue also from the previous version. No new bug or issue seems has been introdiced. During the setup on my install also if I set logo and favicon this settings are lost after the setup wizard and I need setup manually again in settings, brand. You “fixed” the fact I can’t add a note with the plugin WP Dashboard Notes as reported in another topic; more then a fix seems a workaround to an issue that still be unresolved. The add note button was present also before in your template but was simply not working. You added so a new button showed in the Dashboard and this works but there is a menu that still not work even for adding note but also for other menu voice. You can see in the screenshot below this menu. I’m testing also the WordPress plugin Desktop Mode and this add the button “Switch to desktop mode” that also did not work. Is the menu that has some issue, some items added from other plugin is not working. 3. I suggest to add an option to hide the button “Connect Account” showed on the above screenshot. On mobile this button is very annoying and can cover the website logo also. Also can be that I dont wanna show a connect button to me and to other users? 😊 Personally I like also hide the footer added by your plugin, currently this can be done just with a CSS code in a snippet. I like also hide with a CSS the Dashboard redirect switch. You may consider let user choose to be able to customize to show or not show. If I decide to use the WordPress Dashboard can be nice have in any case the possibility to reach your custom dashboard that can be useful. The switch do this but activate the redirect always that is not what I’m looking for; if I want do this I do on the settings. I like a lot the improvement done in 1.5.7, really nice job! Regarding the logo and favicon during the setup wizard: We tested this again and it appears to be working correctly, including in your own video demonstration. This may have been related to caching or a temporary save issue during setup. However, we will still review the setup flow again and improve reliability further in the upcoming 1.5.8 update to avoid inconsistent behavior. About the menu/actions compatibility with third-party plugins: Thank you for the detailed explanation and screenshots. You are correct that some plugin-added menu items and actions still require additional compatibility improvements. We already started working on a broader compatibility layer for custom admin toolbar/dropdown actions and we plan to improve this further in version 1.5.8. Thank you also for the suggestions regarding: hiding the “Connect Account” button, dashboard redirect visibility, and additional interface visibility controls. Advanced branding and white label customization are currently part of the licensed version, mainly to help support ongoing development, maintenance, compatibility improvements, and long-term support for YOOAdmin. The update includes improvements to the setup wizard branding flow, compatibility improvements for third-party admin toolbar actions, RTL enhancements, user management fixes, security hardening improvements, and various reliability improvements across the workspace. We also spent additional time improving compatibility with Desktop Mode while testing both plugins together, including dark mode integration and visual consistency improvements to provide a smoother experience when both plugins are active. If you are currently using YOOAdmin, we recommend updating to version 1.5.8 to benefit from the latest fixes and improvements.
