supportImage path is: /wp-content/uploads/random-card-generator The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hello, Make sure that you can access any image by entering the image URL into the browser, for example: https://song-saga.com/card-generator/wp-content/uploads/random-card-generator/sampleimage.jpg If it works, then try changing the path to “wp-content/uploads/random-card-generator” (without the / at the beginning). Regards, Milos
One more thing, check if plugin is enabled after the upgrade.
Checked the image/s path and they show up – example: https://song-saga.com/wp-content/uploads/random-card-generator/NOT0013_SongSaga_Cards_63x88mm_FA10.png Plugin is enabled 😉 Still no dice.
Hello, Try entering this path “wp-content/uploads/random-card-generator” without the leading / Regards, Milos
Yep – we tried it with and without the leading / Still no dice. We also disabled all other plugins to test for a conflict. This reply was modified 1 year ago by E.T. .
Hello, I see you are using WP Rocket for caching. Did you try to clear cache? Did you try to disable this plugin and check if the Hot Random Image works then? Also, you can try to uninstall and install the Hot Random Image again. I have no other ideas, sorry… Regards, Milos
Yes we tried deactivating all plugins – including WPRocket and SPAI – both with and without the leading / We also tried using the block instead of the shortcode in a Gutenberg page (not using WPBakery page builder) No images show. Idea – could any of these security measures be blocking your plugin? Idea 2 – Could it be something on CloudFlare? This reply was modified 1 year ago by E.T. . I have the same problem. I use GeneratePress and after the last update the images stopped showing. I have rolled back to 1.9.2. and everything is fine.
Hello, The new version 1.9.3 removes supports for path traversal, so if you have images path that contain “../” the images will not be displayed. Only the images from the WordPress folder and its subfolders can be used. This was removed for security issue that was reported previously. This is the only change compared to version 1.9.2. Regards, Milos

SOLVED The issue is with long image file names. When we changed image file names from this: NOT0013_SongSaga_Cards_63x88mm_FA149.png to this: Card-1 Images showed up.
