Hello Gaz, I thought Elementor was broken because the images sizes I had set in Elementor were being ignored. Then the function of your plugin dawned on me. lol. The screen shot shows image set in Elementor category slider to load at 104x104px however it seems the actual size used is the size I have specified in your wonderful plugin, which kind of makes sense as these are categories. https://prnt.sc/12tc4cs Do you think it would be possible to exclude items by post Id or something on those lines maybe ? I hate the thought of removing your plugin as it keeps category images rotating and fresh looking however its adding quiet a bit of weight to pages that require smaller images. I hope you can help. Kind regards, Lee The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] Hi Lee, Does Elementor’s 104×104 size not appear as an option in the plugin settings? Thanks, Gareth. Hi Gareth, Thank you for getting back to me, In your plugin yes, however this will also affect archive/ category pages which results in pixelated images. These images need to be 228×228 where as the category widget images are much smaller 104×104. At this time it seems I have no option really but to manually add images to the categories used in widgets so that they honour the sizes set in Elementor widget. I have taken two screen shots of the thumbnail settings for your own reference. Screen shot of thumbnails in categories widget. https://prnt.sc/12u5hf9 Screen shot of thumbnails in Gazchap settings. https://prnt.sc/12u5m5y Kind regards, Lee Hi Lee, What version of Elementor are you running? And is the widget you’re using the “Product Categories” one that comes as standard with Elementor Pro? I ask because the options that I see when I add the standard Product Categories widget to one of my test pages don’t look anything like your screenshot: https://imgur.com/6WuXHq7 If you could let me know which widget you’re using I’m hoping I can look at it’s code and see how it works. Thanks, Gareth. Hi Gareth, To be honest this is my first time using Elementor, maybe this widget only comes with the Porto theme? I have attached a screen shot for reference. https://prnt.sc/12ulncv Kind regards, Lee 🙂 Hi Lee, Ah yes, that’s the widget included with Porto. Opportune timing, as there have been a few instances of another issue being reported with Porto (duplicate thumbnails appearing) and I’ve been working on a fix for this, and I’ve been able to add a fix in for this issue too – hopefully! Would you be amenable to me sending you a test version of the updated plugin to try on your website and see if this resolves the issues for you? If so, please email me at gazchap at gmail dot com and I’ll send it across. Thanks, Gareth. Hi Gareth, Wow what were the chances of that! haha.. This is great news though, I have a staging site already setup, I’ll drop you a short email now. Kind regards, Lee
