supportwpcode lite Version 2.3.7 snippet works with astra theme version 4.13.4 snippet does not display with astra theme update to 4.13.5 After upgrading to astra theme 4.13.5, the html1 widget i used holding wpcode for FreeSearch search configuration no longer works. the default “search” wp widget does. restored my site from backup so the previous working html1 widget with wpcode snippet for search displays my FreeSearch search bar correctly. checked the forum for html1/theme issues but it refers to woocommerce which is not my problem. astra will not answer questions re plugins. please help. Hi @apcpfg , Thank you for contacting us, and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. To take a proper look, could you send us a few things? A screenshot of the snippet’s settings in WPCode (so we can see the snippet type and its Insertion method), the actual code from the snippet, details on how it’s added to the theme, and a link to the page where the search bar should appear. Aditionaly, It would also help to understand exactly what you’re seeing when the snippet is not working. Does the snippet not execute at all and nothing appears in that spot, or is the raw shortcode text (something like [wpcode id=”123″]) showing on the page. That distinction tells us a lot about whether the shortcode is still being processed by the theme after the update. Answers to your questions: A screenshot of the snippet’s settings in WPCode 2. the actual code from the snippet is [wpcode id=”28933″] (is this what you want?) 3. details on how it’s added to the theme — Appearance>Customize>Header added with HTML1 WP widget 4. search bar appears on all pages of https://arenachistory.org . 5. what i’m seeing when the snippet is not working 6. Does the snippet not execute at all and nothing appears in that spot — nothing appears at all but currently the default WP search function is showing because I have to have some kind of search function for the visitors.
